Distracting The DeputyBy Shanna HatfieldThis is one of Ms。 Hatfield’s best stories yet in this series。 They are all good but this one with Knox and Zadie is so good and there is a lot going on。It has romance of course， and mystery， danger， and just all the good stuff that Ms。 Hatfield can pack into a story。Zadie has a past she can’t talk about and Knox is just a great guy who is one of the deputies in Summer Creek who can talk and open up about things， once he gets to know you。 Zadie has her rea Distracting The DeputyBy Shanna HatfieldThis is one of Ms。 Hatfield’s best stories yet in this series。 They are all good but this one with Knox and Zadie is so good and there is a lot going on。It has romance of course， and mystery， danger， and just all the good stuff that Ms。 Hatfield can pack into a story。Zadie has a past she can’t talk about and Knox is just a great guy who is one of the deputies in Summer Creek who can talk and open up about things， once he gets to know you。 Zadie has her reasons though for not opening up about her past。 She needs safety for the whole town。Connect with all the fun characters and several octogenarian’s who are rather delightful and of course what is country town without its own famous goat named Ethel。 Everyone knows her too。If you haven’t read the other books in this series， you should and start with the first one as they flow into each other as new characters come to town or in this case live there already。I read this arc when asked but I wanted to write a review as I loved this beautifully written story and this is my own opinion。 。。。more

Prepare yourself for an epic story filled with swoon worthy moments （who knew Captain America was so hot）， drama， intrigue and of course plenty of romance。 Kane and Zadie have been mentioned in the earlier books of this series （and I do recommend reading them in order if you can）， but I loved getting to know them and their personalities。 The descriptions of Kane particularly were vivid and definitely drew pictures in my mind - I could see him on the horse or in uniform or in dress-up （you need a Prepare yourself for an epic story filled with swoon worthy moments （who knew Captain America was so hot）， drama， intrigue and of course plenty of romance。 Kane and Zadie have been mentioned in the earlier books of this series （and I do recommend reading them in order if you can）， but I loved getting to know them and their personalities。 The descriptions of Kane particularly were vivid and definitely drew pictures in my mind - I could see him on the horse or in uniform or in dress-up （you need a fan for that particular story） very clearly。 I was caught up in their story and struggled with Zadie as she had secrets she couldn’t tell Kane， no matter how much she wanted to。 A book I know I will read again and again and enjoy immensely each time。 。。。more
